Another New Player Signed for the Spireites

Chesterfield FC has announced the signing of Joel Taylor from Chester for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old arrived at Chester ahead of the 2019/20 campaign from Kidderminster Harriers. He went on to impress during his first season at the Deva, making 38 appearances and earning himself a place in the National League North team of the season. The full-back also scooped the Blues’ player of the season award.

Speaking on the club’s website, the new signing said: “I like to believe that I’m a very attacking full-back so I like to get up the pitch and chip in with a few goals and assists, but first and foremost, defensive work is my main priority.”
