James Rowe makes first signing as Spireites boss

Chesterfield have announced the signing of Dutch forward Akwasi Asante from Rowe’s former club Gloucester City for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old will look to continue his fine goalscoring record from Gloucester where he has scored eight goals this season from ten games. Asante also impressed at Chester where he netted nineteen times in twenty-nine appearances for the Seals.
